Joorabchian wants new Tevez probe

Kia Joorabchian has criticised the Premier League's handling of the Carlos Tevez saga and is willing to fund an new inquiry to resolve the matter.
Joorabchian, who represents Tevez, is upset with the lack of "transparency".

He has also accused Premier League chief Richard Scudamore of dragging "me, my players, West Ham and the Premier League through the mud".

He added: "That's why I want a proper independent inquiry and I'm willing to finance it, whatever it costs."

Tevez: Going for a songYou know all about Carlos Tevez the footballer. But now, we give you the lowdown on the Argentine striker's burgeoning musical career...

Off the pitch as well as on it, Carlos Tevez is capable of leading onlookers a merry old dance, courtesy of his musical side project as vocalist with Piola Vago.

The band’s name translates as ‘sly idle’ and their music is best described as a ‘shanty town’ version of Colombian folk-and-dance genre. Perennially popular among the Argentine working classes, its roots lie in the cuarteto rhythms of acts like La Mona Jiminez, La Nueva Luna and Leo Mattioli.

Despite his stellar footballing success, Carlos retains strong links with his ghetto background, having formed the band partly to help his old friends from the Fuerte Apache district of Buenos Aires.

He’s even been known to fly halfway around the world to join his musical bedfellows onstage at a benefit gig. This continuing devotion to his roots marks him out from the more extreme stereotype of his English football counterparts.

To date, Carlos and his cohorts have cut just the one album, 2005’s Los Pibes Del Barrio (The Lads From The Neighbourhood). Holding a ball and reminiscent of Liam Gallagher sporting a vintage Stone Roses ‘Reni’ hat on the cover, Carlos handles vocal and production duties, while his brother Diego writes the songs.

Naturally, Sir Alex would probably rather Carlos confined his sweet music to the pitch, but while at West Ham, the Evening Standard newspaper ran a story suggesting Carlos was thinking of releasing an album of covers of his team-mates’ favourites, among them Bananarama’s Robert de Niro’s Waiting, Gloria Jones’ Tainted Love and, appropriately enough,
(we have a player and a singer in our team its a bit funny lol )

another post in this thread lol:

Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has admitted he would one day like to return to Boca Juniors.

The Argentinean forward joined United this summer following a drawn out transfer from West Ham.

However, the 23-year-old says he would be keen to leave United in four or five years in order to help Boca - his first professional club - out of their rut of poor form.

Boca recently lost 2-0 to derby rivals River Plate, which led to coach Carlos Bianchi quitting, and they have struggled in the Apertura Championship and Tevez is keen to help.

"Every Sunday in Manchester I have the chance to watch the games that Boca play," Tevez told Argentinean media.

"I would like to return one day to help them get out of the difficult moment that they are in. It is not common that Boca lose so frequently in the derby match against River.

"I am a Boca fan and would like to be there but that can only be possible in a few years, not now.

"I would like to return to Boca in four or five years time when I am still fit to play. I wouldn't want to return to Boca being fat and without any chance of playing correctly.

"At the moment my life and my career are focused on Manchester United, but I always know everything that happens with Boca."

what do you think of this
