im on my third time reading robert jordan's the wheel of time series, it's long and he started in 1992 and still isnt done he's published 11 books so far. i love the books but there are way too many similarities to lord of the rings to be considered highly original. later on in the books when his own plot line thickens it gets better and the rip offs are a little more forgivable. its a fast and fun interesting read though i love em

I'm reading a sci-fi by a new author: The Mars Imperative by Mark Terence Chapman. Not bad so far. _________________ Tower of Light Fantasy

Now I'm reading Book Five of the Wheel of Time: The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan. The story is still pretty good even into the fifth book. I'm beginning to think the reason the series works despite its length is the strong character development. _________________ Tower of Light Fantasy
